M by Mariah Carey moisturizing body lotion - review

I have had this body lotion for around a year, bought from abroad. It is the body lotion that accompanies the M fragrance by Mariah Carey (the first perfume she released, if you want to smell it, you can find it in DM). I also own the fragrance and I like it, sweet, powerful, elegant, feminine and most importantly lasts on me all day long ! So I also bought the body lotion to go with it.

M by Mariah Carey moisturizing body lotion. Bask in the aura of this luxurious, luminous lotion as it embraces your skin in perfect harmony. It comes in a 200 ml/6.8 oz plastic tube and has a valability of 12 months. I like the fact that it has a squeezy tube, making it easy to use and deposit. It has the same colour scheme as the fragrance.

The smell is almost the same as the fragrance, quite sweet and powerful. If you're into discrete scents this body lotion is not for you. It had a runny texture and it was easily absorbed into the skin. Its main role being to prolong the wear of the perfume, it did its job; it also contains small glitter particles to give a discrete glow to the skin. As a moisturizing body lotion, it is not very effective. On my normal skin, I felt the need to reapply it in around 2 hours (and it was not winter time).

Ingredients : Aqua (Water), Isocetyl Stearate, Parfum (Fragrance), Polysorbate 60, Stearic Acid, Cyclopentasiloxane, Sorbitan Stearate, Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Cetyl Palmitate, Decyl Oleate, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cetyl Alcohol, Trideceth-6, Polyacrylamidomethylpropane Sulfonic Acid, Carbomer, Sodium Polyacrylate, Triethanolamine, BHT, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben.

All in all, M by Mariah Carey moisturizing body lotion is a body lotion that can prolong the wear of the perfume (but it has a good wear anyway on its own). It doesn't moisturize very much. I wouldn't buy it again, it is not worth the money. I give it the C grade. Until next time ,
