Sephora Collection Colorful 5 Eyeshadow Palette - no.6 Pale to rich taupe - review

Today's post is about another favourite product I have used almost every day since I had it. It is a small neutral palette from Sephora : the Colorful 5 Eyeshadow Palette - no.6 Pale to rich taupe. I generally like to use neutrals for my eye make-up and pair it with a very bold coloured lipsticks. This is currently my favourite make-up combination.

These collections of shades each create a certain look or focus on a specific finish. Sephora’s color experts and trainers have chosen specific shades to mix and match for dramatic and everyday eye looks. The high-coverage, intense, and long-lasting colors come in a slim palette with an included mirror and applicator for easy use.

I like both the colour combination in the palette (a glittery eyeshadow Glittery beige, three satin eyeshadows Pink Beige, Taupe and Deep Taupe and a matte one Deep Brown). I also like its small size, perfect for travelling and the useful applicator (one side a small sponge tip applicator for the eyeshadow, the other a slanted brush perfect for eyelining the eyes, smudging the eyeshadow at the bottom of the eye or drawing the eyebrows with brow powder). 

I this this colour combination suits everyone no matter the eye or hair colour. The colour combination can be used perfectly for a "no make-up" make-up, a discrete day look or a night out. It works very well in all seasons and paired with all lipstick colours. For me this palette is a must-have. 

The colours are surprizingly pigmented, they are easy to work with, they blend well. I love the softness and pigmentation of the eyeshadows. With a good primer they last all day on my oily eyelids.

The only eyeshadow that is not performing well is Glittery beige, its glitter particles do not stay well onto the lids; they tend to fall onto the cheeks. Because of its glittery texture this shadow does not apply evenly onto the lid; if I tried to blend it, it fell onto the cheeks. As you can see it's not very used. I tend to skip it altogether. 

You can find it in all Sephora shops at the price of aprox. 25 dollars (I couldn't find the Romanian price, I'll update this post as soon as I find it).

All in all,  Sephora Collection Colorful 5 Eyeshadow Palette - no.6 Pale to rich taupe is a must-have for me! I like to use it daily for my neutral eye make-up to go with my must-have bold coloured lipstick! This combination makes me feel good, confident and ready to face another day!
