Guerlain Rose aux Joues Blush Duo in Peach Boy - review

I think you know I love Guerlain. I received the virus from Ana Maria aka. Beautybarometer, she's obsessed with it and now so do I. I love it for its long and beautiful history. For its elegance and charm. For its cult products that will never grow old. For its wonderful violet scent enveloping all its make-up products. For its elegant, discrete perfumes. I love it! I have a small collection to play with, which I hope to grow. So today I tought to share with you one of my favourites from Guerlain : Guerlain Peach Boy Rose aux Joues Blush Duo.
Guerlain Duo Rose Aux Joues - shade, color, and sculpt with Rose Aux Joues, a must-have for all women who are eager to have fun with color. Guerlain’s eye-popping blush duo offers vibrant color pairings that allow you to re-invent your beauty routine every day. One vibrant shade adds a pop of color to the cheekbones while its smaller counterpart can be mixed or used for a striking contrast.
It is a duo blush that allows you to shade, color, and sculpt. It contains a bold orange-coral shade with an almost matte finish and a gold-shimmered peach-coral (similar with Nars Orgasm, Milani Luminoso). You can wear the stronger colour all year round, especially in the colder seasons and the peach-coral mostly in the warmer seasons, or as a highlighter if you are a darker skin shade. You can also mix the two to obtain a medium peach with a slight shimmer.
It comes in a 0.21 oz/ 6 gr. gold packaging with a small brush. On me it had an incredible long-lasting effect : it lasted for over 8 hours (from early in the morning to late in the night), without fading one bit or smudging. The colours remain as pigmented on the skin as in the pan all day long.

It is very pigmented so use it with a very light hand, it is harder to blend after applied to the skin (especially the bolder colour). It is definitely the most long-lasting blush I have ever had; it is also very pigmented so it will last you for a very long time (so the price is well deserved in the end). As with all Guerlain make-up products the blush has a discrete violet scent I love.

You can see it in a pink themed make-up I did a while ago :
You can find it in Sephora, Marionnaud, Kendra, Douglas, Debenhams beauty and online at the price of aprox. 220 ron/ 50 dollars.

All in all, Guerlain Rose aux Joues Blush Duo in Peach Boy is a great quality blush, a cult product with a high-end price. In my opinion it deserves it : it is very pigmented, very long-lasting and light on the skin. The colours in the range are gorgeous, for every taste, season and skin colour. Yes it is expensive but it is worth it! Since it is so pigmented and long-lasting it will last you a very long time, you'll get bored with it! Therefore I give it the -A grade (for the higher price which it not available for every one). If you don't care about the higher price this blush is definitely worth checking out!  Until next time ,
